Terms & Conditions of Quote acceptance
In order to accept the quote, the above-named client must be the property owner or is in a position to authorise, and has the legal right to make the changes detailed in the quote.
If you have questions regarding the quote please contact us on the above number for clarification or to alter the quote to better suit your requirements.
Should you chose to accept the quote, you will be contacted by a member of our office team to book in the works on a date that is suitable for yourselves.
Any dates given for the planned commencement of works may vary dependent on weather and previous jobs running over schedule due to additional requirements or environmental factors.
You will be contacted by a member of the office within 48 hours of the planned commencement date. This date will only change if a previous customer has requested additional works, environmental factors or staff absence dictate a change is required.
Our team will contact you by phone on all the pre-arranged dates of your works before arriving, unless otherwise advised by yourselves not to do so.
Please be aware that upon arrival the team will spend a short time conducting an onsite Risk Assessment and Pre-works photos will be taken on their handheld device, prior to commencement of work.
Finally when works are finished for the day, a short completion form will also be conducted, this form will require photographs of works completed to be taken.
Should any reasonably unforeseen complications or factors, that were not possibly visible at point of quoting form the ground, become apparent during the works a review and re-quote, or changes to quote form may be needed to complete the required works.
Any changes at all to the works described in the agreed quote will have to be submitted via a “Changes to Quote” form on site with a member of staff. New costings for the changes will then have to be agreed prior to the commencement of works on these changes. No works outside of those on the agreed quote will be undertaken unless this form has been completed and signed off by the client.
On the final day of the works, the client will need to be in attendance at the end of the day in order to agree that they are happy the works have been completed to their satisfaction and in line with the original or updated quote. If the client is unable to be in attendance at the culmination of works STS will take no responsibility for any issues identified thereafter by the client.
Any excess materials left over from the job are the property of STS Industries Ltd unless otherwise agreed they will be removed from the job by the completion date.
An invoice will be received via email by the end of the working day after the Job has been completed. Queries on any items included on the invoice before payment must be made within 24 hours of receiving the invoice. These queries should be made to the Office on telephone number 01242 472560 or email enquiries@silvertreeservices.co.uk.
Payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving the invoice. After the 48 hour period has elapsed Silver Tree Services will send a reminder email with a copy of the invoice and will back this up with a phone call to check all has been received and the reason for the delay.
Trees and Hedges Job form:
Should you notice any snagging that is required on the job, we ask if this could be highlighted to us immediately. This will ensure we can complete any remedial works in a timely fashion, and you can have complete satisfaction in the finish.
Payment to be made by BACS transfer. Cheques are no longer accepted by Silver Tree Services unless agreed with all parties before commencement of the job. Please note a pre payment of 50% of the total cost may be required on any jobs totalling over £5,000+VAT. A staged payment agreement may need to be arranged for specific large scale jobs. A contract for works above £10,000 will be drawn up and signed by both parties prior to the commencement of works.
